Mountain Loop Highway is Open Again

If you are heading out over the 4th of July have a blast.

The Mountain Loop Highway is open between Darrington and Granite Falls again. I love that road, it gets you up into beautiful country. There are tons of great hikes in this area. Weekends can get a little busy but there is alot to see and do. Stop at the Verlot Ranger Station and get more info from them.

Even just as a nice day trip, it is well worth a trip. Most people drive it from south to the north. But I prefer taking I-5 to Arlington then head east do Darrington and then south on the Mountain Loop back to Seattle.

Have a safe and fun 4th!
