For those who like the Big Four Ice Caves Trail, Good News the bridge has been rebuilt over the river and the trail has easy access again. Took awhile but I am glad the trail is easy to get to now. I enjoyed hiking this trail.
It is located on the Mountain Loop Highway just past Granite Falls.
Great area to hike especially during the week when the area is less crowded. Great mountain drive too.
To get to it. Take I-5 to Everett. Then Highway 2 towards Monroe and Stevens pass. Pass Snohomish and then head north on Highway 9 to the Granite Falls turnoff and head east through Granite Falls and continue East towards Barlow Pass.
