Directions to trailhead: 2 mi past Verlot Service Center on Mt Loop Highway

Trip Details: 5.4 mi through various terrain leads to a beautiful lake

Charisha's comments: Did this hike on June 5th with my 12 yr old, 3.5 yr old and 13 mo old. Beautiful weather and a beautiful hike.

My little mans legs got tired but he toughed it out. Picnic at the lake gave the kids the rest they needed and a chance to explore off trail. Overall a great day hike!
